Today (Friday, November 3) is the last day you can turn in an absentee ballot without a sworn, notarized statement.
The regular deadline for applying for an absentee ballot was October 31. In an emergency, you can apply until today (instructions here), but absentee ballots must be received today, otherwise a sworn statement will be required.
Make sure your absentee ballot is received today by the Board of Elections, City Hall Room 142. Postmarks do not count — it must be in their hands by 5:00 pm.
For official instructions and additional information, see the Philadelphia City Commissioners' Absentee and Alternative Ballots page.
