To vote in the May 16, 2017 Democratic primary, you must be registered as a Democrat in the City of Philadelphia by April 17. Here's how to make sure you're ready.
- Now: Check your registration status online or call the Philadelphia Voter Registration Office at 215-686-1590.
- By April 17: Register to vote or change your registration to Democratic. Do it online, mail it in or drop it off. Don't wait until the last minute!
To register to vote in person, visit either:
• the Philadelphia Voter Registration Office at 520 N Columbus Blvd, 5th Floor
• the Philadelphia County Board of Elections in City Hall, Room 142
Both are open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
To register to vote by mail, pick up a voter registration application at a US Post Office, Philadelphia public library, state liquor store or other state government office, or download an application from pavoterservices.pa.gov. Mail your application to 520 N Columbus Blvd, 5th Floor, Philadelphia PA 19123.
The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is May 9. All absentee ballots must be received by May 12.
